I've had the privilege of offering Reiki to the public since June of 2000. I've always understood and read the energy signals of others quite well. My ability to detect the most difficult situations comes quite naturally to me. My grandmother was a practioner of healing touch and she encouraged me to help others even as a small child. My goal is to balance your body's energy and to create the perfect atmosphere for optimum healing and harmonious, healthy living. My mission is to restore hope in the lives of others by offering this unique healing system, and striving to create good health on a long term basis and enhance a positive attitude in everyone I come in contact with. What is Reiki?
Reiki is a Japanese word representing Universal Life Force, the energy around us and within us. Reiki is a way of activating, directing and applying natural energy for the promotion of health, healing, balance and wholeness. This form of healing is an holistic creative energy and therefore useful for preventing imbalance, assisting the body's natural healing powers and maintaining the rebalance as a state of well being.
How is Reiki used?
Reiki is a safe, gentle, non-invasive form of hands-on healing. Reiki practitioners channel energy in a particular pattern to heal and harmonize. Reiki seeks to restore order to the body whose vital energy has become unbalanced.
Reiki energy has several basic effects: it brings about deep relaxation, destroys energy blockages, detoxifies the system, provides new vitality in the form of healing universal life energy, and increases the vibrational frequency of the body, so life moves forward in a positive direction.
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what fuels life. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.
